Program Competency Framework
required by ARC-PA A2.05a and B1.01b
Enter your program's competency domains exactly as they appear in your program documents. These will be mapped alongside ARC-PA standards in all outputs. Every program defines these differently — enter yours as-is.
Common examples: MK (Medical Knowledge), CTS (Clinical & Technical Skills), CR (Clinical Reasoning), IC (Interprofessional Communication), PB (Professional Behaviors), CRPS (Clinical Reasoning & Problem Solving)

PAComply Pilot v1.0 — ARC-PA 6th Edition
What is PAComply?

PAComply is an AI-assisted accreditation compliance tool built specifically for ARC-PA 6th Edition. It automatically extracts instructional objectives and learning outcomes from your syllabi, then maps them to ARC-PA B2 standards, PANCE blueprint categories, and your program's competency framework.

All course data is stored locally in your browser. Analysis is performed securely through the Co·Plinth platform.

Pilot Program: This is version 1.0. Your feedback shapes future development. Use the feedback button (bottom-right) to share what's working and what's missing.

Glossary

ARC-PA Standards

B2 Standards
ARC-PA 6th Edition Section B2 — the 19 curriculum content standards every PA program must address. PAComply maps your courses to each child standard (B2.02a through B2.20c).
B1.03 Fields
The 9 required elements every syllabus must contain per ARC-PA standard B1.03: course title, description, instructor, goals, LOs, IOs, topic outline, assessments, and grading plan.
Coverage Type
Primary = this course provides the main instruction on that standard. Reinforcement = the standard is revisited/applied but not taught from scratch.

Course Structure

LO
Learning Outcome — a measurable statement of what students will be able to do by the end of the course. Must use a Bloom's action verb (apply, analyze, evaluate…).
IO
Instructional Objective — a specific topic or skill within a content block. IOs are hierarchical: IO1. → IO1.a. → IO1.a.i. Each level represents increasing specificity.
IO ◆ (io_sub)
Survey-pattern steps used in organ system courses: "For each condition, describe etiology, presentation, management…" These are coded as IO1.a. ◆ with a gold diamond.
Instructional Block
A named content area within a course (e.g., "Cardiovascular System", "Week 3 — Renal"). Each block contains its IOs and links to learning outcomes.

Curriculum Map

Gap Report
B2 standards with no confirmed course coverage across the entire program. Any gap is a potential ARC-PA deficiency finding.
PANCE Overlay
Shows how much of the PANCE Content Blueprint your curriculum covers — by organ system (11–4%) and task area (18–6%).
Confirmed / Pending
AI-proposed mappings start as Pending. Faculty review them in Mapping Review and mark Confirmed ✓ or Reject ✗. Only confirmed mappings count toward coverage.

Import Tips

Best results
Include the complete syllabus — course description, all LOs, all IOs, every assessment, and the grading plan. The more text, the more accurate the analysis.
From Word
Open the .doc/.docx file → Ctrl+A (select all) → Ctrl+C (copy) → paste into the Import text area. Or use the Upload File button directly.
From PDF
Open in a browser or Adobe → Ctrl+A → Ctrl+C → paste. Some PDFs are image-only; if so, copy text from the source Word file instead.
Re-analyze
After adding IOs or editing a course, click "↻ Re-analyze Mappings" in the course panel to refresh ARC-PA mappings without re-importing.
